Zou Weitao, a graduate advisor, holds a PhD in Forestry Information Engineering from Northeast Forestry University and a joint PhD from the Center for Distributed and High Performance Computing at the University of Sydney. He is also a member of the Heilongjiang Remote Sensing Society. His research focuses on forestry remote sensing, multimodal learning, and high-performance spatiotemporal big data processing. He was selected for the China Association for Science and Technology's Outstanding Sino-Foreign Youth Exchange Program, received awards for Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation from Northeast Forestry University, and Outstanding Young Report from the 9th Scientific Data Conference. He has led open projects at the National Earth Observation Science Data Center, the Key Laboratory of Computing Internet and Information Security of the Ministry of Education, and the Fundamental Research Funds for Central Universities. He has also participated in four projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the State Forestry Administration's Public Welfare Industry Special Project. He has published over ten academic papers. He serves on the Young Editor Board of the journal Smart Forestry, is a TPC member of international computer science conferences such as PICom and ICA3PP, and serves as a reviewer for journals such as IEEE TGRS, The Journal of Supercomputing, and IEEE T-SUSC.
